Hey Mom!

Marcella is doing great. She had her baptismal interview yesterday and passed. She is getting baptized this Saturday by her boyfriend who's family lives in our ward but he's flying in from BYU just for the baptism and confirmation. He is also confirming her the next day (Sunday). Cool eh?! She's probably the best investigator I will ever have on my mission. I could SEE the change as she gained a true testimony of the Book of Mormon.

Gladys on the other hand is VERY emotional, wishy-washy, and dramatic. She called us this Sunday in the morning and said, "I won't be to church today because I just don't feel like it so we'll have to postpone the baptism." Now she's going in for surgery and will be out at LEAST a week :P She just doesn't get how important this is even though she really wants to be baptized. Ah well. Patience is a virtue.

I'm glad I was able to find a good bike as well. Yes, I pulled $160 out of my UCCU account.

I'm sure I'll get a greenie too, I am trying not to get antsy but it seems like the only "non-normal" missionary thing that I'd actually enjoy doing. I don't want any leadership position that's for sure.
Yes, day-to-day life is SO different. lol

I LOVED the Christmas season in Chamber Singers! I really miss that, probably more than anything else! I'm jealous that they get to sing in our ward this year :) You'll have to record some of it :D

Thanks for being proud of me. I'm honored to know that people are asking about me. That's awesome! I'll be jealous all night that you got to go to Tepanyaki but that is the coolest idea I've heard :D I'm excited for you all to go. I hope something fun will happen here. Not sure what the plans are yet. Thank you SOOOO much for the birthday gifts! I got it today and couldn't resist opening it up right away! I LOVE all of the gifts! That piano music is AMAZING! Did you get those all specially spiral bound like I did with your classical book that you sent me or did they come like that? I love them all! You picked perfectly! Thank you so much for the CD as well. I forgot to tell Kody thanks for the CD he sent so I'll have to send him another email and tell him. I actually already have the CD he sent me so I'll have to come up with some way of exchanging it but I am so happy for the thought he put into it :D He is such a thoughtful kid...young man! He's definitely not a kid anymore. I just about died of laughter when I opened up the caramels! I'm going to have to hide those well ;) I am pretty much just thrilled for the package! The card was really awesome too :D Thank you so much!
